We can highlight two ways to recognize a modern Judeophobe trying to camouflage as anti-Zionist. Thinker Gustavo Perednik considers that an anti- Semite can be recognized with three criteria: his obsession with Israel or Jews, coprolalia (insults – “Israel is a Nazi state”, for example) and Manichaeism (everything Jewish and Israel is negative). It is important to repeat that direct and crude hate against Jews is usually condemned by national laws because the world still remembers what such Judeophobia did to it. However, for anyone with an uncalibrated moral compass, hating Jews as a state is a conduct with which they can coexist at peace. Another method is the “3D Anti-Semitism Test”: Delegitimize Israel, Demonize Israel, and submit Israel to Double standards. This well-acknowledged parameter was developed by Nathan Sharansky, former Minister of Israel and ex-president of the Jewish Agency for Israel. Criticizing Israel doesn’t mean being anti-Semitic; criticizing Israel obsessively, especially in a Manichaean way, qualifying the country with insults, using double standards, demonization and promoting delegitimation IS being a Judeophobe. Almost all countries present themselves as “nation-states of a determined people”: Spain is the national cradle of the Spaniards, Argentina of the Argentineans and Russia of the Russians. All these countries host national minorities. No one says or dares to express that they are “in favor” of destroying Argentina because, for example, the country doesn’t dissolve to conform a new state to include Bolivians, Peruvians and Venezuelans. However, when it is about Israel, it is demanded that it renounces to be the national state of the Jewish people (80% of its population). This is discrimination.
