187. When did the Hezbollah arise in Lebanon?

Hezbollah was created in 1982 to expand the Shiite Islamist revolution sponsored by Iran and to defend the Shiites in a dismembered Lebanon. Iranians considered that the expansion of the Revolution would ensure the permanence of the regime. In Lebanon, there was already a Shiite Islamist group called Amal (Hope) founded in 1974, as a response to the Palestinian invasion (after Jordan). The average materialistic person would affirm that Hezbollah was created because of the Israeli occupation of Lebanon. The Israeli presence increased the legitimacy of violent people to carry weapons, but it was not the cause. Proof? In December 2018, Israel discovered a series of tunnels built by Hezbollah to attack Israelis, but there was no Israeli presence since May 2000, and in any case, the aggression of the tunnels was done. The origin of the problem was the incapacity of the Lebanese state to monopolize the use of force and become responsible for violent actions made from their territory. The official Lebanese army (in Sunni hands) could not cope with a Hezbollah armed by Iran. In 1992, Hezbollah ran in the first parliamentary elections and became a key party in Lebanese politics. This fact should not surprise: a terrorist Islamic group is not only a military arm, it also has a social action and propaganda section (Dawa), religious and political authorities, and media specialists in Islamic terrorism, who consider that it is artificial to separate their action in independent departments. The EU the US, Australia, Canada, England, the Netherlands, France, Israel, Bahrain and Egypt consider Hezbollah or its armed branch (as if it could be separated) as a terrorist organization. Hezbollah, the Iranian armed branch, has attacked in Argentina and expanded its influence in Latin America, where they found a base for action in the Venezuela of Chavez.
