For Palestinians, there are four reasons to believe that time favors them: 1) the increase in the Iranian military capacity may weaken the spirit and military potential of Israel; 2) the increase of anti-Semitism in Europe and the US may weaken the position of the Jews, especially when neo-anti-Semites declare themselves as anti-Zionists; 3) the separation of the US Democratic Party from Israel; a president with a profile such as Bernie Sanders could severely damage relations with Israel; 4) the internal socio-political disputes in Israel and the distancing from the Jewish communities of the world could increase the gap and weaken the capacity to sustain the conflict for more decades. The Happiness Index of the Palestinians (2018) is in the 104th place of 156 countries. Israelis have reasons to believe that time plays in their favor: 1) a significant reduction of the importance of the Palestinian agenda. It seems that the Palestinian-Israeli conflict IS NOT the main one of the region, although it comes afloat on certain periods; 2) important Sunni states require Israeli support to stop the main enemy (Shiite Iran); 3) Jihadism nurtures with funds from oil, the black gold that is losing its power of cohesion. Israel is the main power of the world in two essential topics for the Middle East: it knows how to desalinize water at marvelous prices and specializes in agriculture in impossible conditions. Leaving behind its military capacity, Israel has much more to offer in the technological-material sector than its neighbors; 4) one of the most hostile fronts against Israel, Europe, is having severe difficulties to stay as a Union. In parallel, bilateral relations with the EU countries are improving. The Happiness Index of the Israelis (2018) is in the 11th place of 156 countries.
